Haiku on photo #18

INOUE, Seigetsu (1822?-1887) is a legendary bleaching haiku-poet in Japan.

Having joy for the grace of drinking clear water.

Needless to say but getting clear water is one of the most important thing to keep us alive.Meanwhile his traveling on foot, he would recognize it seriously for several times. Especially in the hard hotness of summer.

Nearby this creek, there's Payzant Campsite.I drank and used the water on this picture for cooking. When you drink the water which flows in nature field, somtimes you should boil it before you drink. Good luck.

Haiku on photo #19

In the traditoin of Japan, it is a habit in autumn to enjoy the view with the moon. But you know that we can enjoy it in any season when we feel fun.

''(the moon) knocks on the lodge'' is personificational expression for the moon. We can imagine that how the beauty of the moon attracted him to gaze it well at outside.

Maybe at mid of a night, he was resting in a pitch-dark clunker lodge and saw the moonlite flew into it through the small cracks of the roof, door or wall. Then he would want to enjoy the landscape with the moon outside.
