Haiku on photo #14

INOUE, Seigetsu (1822?-1887) is a legendary bleaching haiku-poet in Japan.

This haiku is based on a Japanese folklore 七夕Tanabata, a story of 2 stars called 織姫Orihime and 彦星Hikoboshi. Orihime is Vega in the constellation Lyra(こと座) and Hikoboshi is Altair in the constellation Aquila(わし座). They are up in east sky and separated by the Milkey Way. It is said that those stars are a couple of lovers but forbidden to meet except in the night of 7th July (sometimes on lunar calendar). So at this night, we hope they can meet happily, just only for once a year.

This picture is just for image and it was taken in autemn. Sorry that we can't see Vega nor Altair on it...
